A deep clean deals with dirt. A post-construction clean deals with what building leaves behind: fine drywall dust that settles into air vents and recirculates the first time the system runs, dried joint compound on baseboards and door frames, adhesive on glass that hardens the longer it sits, and a film of grit on every flat surface in the building.

The crew starts with debris removal, clearing leftover materials so there is floor to work on. Then comes detailed dust removal from surfaces, light fixtures, walls and ceilings, and the air vents.
Windows are cleaned inside and out, along with glass partitions and mirrors. Cabinets and drawers are wiped inside and out, countertops and appliances are cleaned and disinfected, and floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped and brought up to a move-in finish.
The clean has three possible passes. A rough clean comes after the major trades leave and before finishes go in. The final clean is the one the client sees. A touch-up pass catches the dust that punch-list trades bring back right before the walkthrough.
Timing the clean and booking it
Schedule the final clean after all major work is complete and the space is broom-clean. Cleaning around active trades means cleaning twice. Get the date on the calendar as soon as the finish schedule firms up, then confirm closer to the day.
